AntWorks Clinical EHR - Preferred by Physicians Proven by PracticeThrough AntWorks Clinical EHR, now you can seamlessly and securely transmit ePrescriptions to pharmacies for DEA class I, II, III, IV, and V. Exchanging prescription information electronically between physicians and pharmacies improves the accuracy of the prescribing process and saves time. The new EPCS feature eliminates the need to print controlled substance prescriptions thus offering great relief for physicians and patients and invariably helps in control of possible misuse of printed prescriptions.
The feature enforces two-factor authentication for prescription of narcotic drugs to ensure that drugs are not prescribed by unauthorized employees like medical assistants, nurses or administrative staff.
AntWorks has teamed up with IdenTrust, to provide identity proofing and issuance of Digital Certificate Tokens used to digitally sign and electronically send prescriptions for controlled substances. By providing the required information to IdenTrust, you will have the ability to seamlessly complete remote identity proofing that will be valid for two years.
To complete your identity proofing you will need to provide your name, address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, a credit card number, and your driver’s license. This process will take approximately one week. Once you have received your digital certificate and installed it, register it on AntWorks EPCS sign up screen to begin electronically sending controlled substances prescriptions.
Please note: ONLY THE SUBSCRIBER OF THE CERTIFICATE SHOULD HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THEIR TOKEN - THE DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS YOUR FORM OF IDENTIFICATION, SIMILAR TO YOUR PASSPORT OR DRIVER’S LICENSE. Under the IGC Certificate Policy, it is our responsibility as an Authorized Certification Authority to revoke the certificate in a case of loss or disclosure of the private key (Password) to anyone other than the subscriber.
